PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tacky adhesive composition having high adhesive force using a polyolefin-based polymer and an adhesive tape using the same.SOLUTION: There are provided: an acid-modified α-olefin polymer which is obtained by modifying a raw material, α-olefin polymer with an organic acid and satisfies the following (1) and (2); and a tacky adhesive composition and an adhesive tape using the same. (1) A melting endothermic amount &Dgr;H-D measured by a differential scan calorimeter (DSC) is 0 to 10 J/g. (2) The raw material, α-olefin polymer is a propylene homopolymer, a 1-butene homopolymer and a propylene-1-butene copolymer.
