[00030] The present invention is directed to a fitted bed sheet, is one piece of cotton type fabric that includes a top and sides, having its corners joined to a miter and sewn to include folds and pleats. The sides' envelope the mattress and have a stretch polyester fabric sewn along the peripheral edge. The corners of the stretch polyester fabric have been joined to create an overlap open scissor action movement, allowing the corners of the present invention to be applied or removed from a mattress. Its embodiment gives it greater hold once applied to a mattress and results in a fitted bed sheet that will not come off the mattress when used by an obese body type, a person with a restless sleeping disorder or a person whom has to regularly sit upright at the bed head area of a mattress. The invention has no elastic strip sewn into it.
