PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-electrochemical reaction apparatus which has a function of separating products of an oxidation-reduction reaction and has a high conversion efficiency from sunlight to chemical energy.SOLUTION: The photo-electrochemical apparatus of an embodiment of the present invention includes: a solution tank 71 storing a first solution 81; a laminate 41 contained in the solution tank and comprising a first electrode 11, a second electrode 21 formed under the first electrode, a photovoltaic power layer 31 which is formed between the first and second electrodes and carries out charge separation with light energy from above, and a first insulation layer 22 formed on an exposed surface of the second electrode; piping 61 which is contained in the solution tank and arranged so as to be opposite to the above of the first electrode, contains a second solution 82 and has a fine hole 66 penetrating from the outer surface to the inner surface; and wiring 51 connecting the second electrode electrically to the piping. |
