摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-noise reactor which has a superior magnetic property and enables the effective suppression of noise generation; a powder-compact magnetic core for such a reactor; and a method for manufacturing such a powder-compact magnetic core.SOLUTION: A powder-compact magnetic core is manufactured by mixing soft magnetic powder with a binding insulative resin, compacting the resultant mixture into a predetermined shape, and then performing a thermal treatment on the compact. The powder-compact magnetic core has a radial crushing strength of 27 MPa or larger. It is preferable to use powder of an FeSiAl alloy as the soft magnetic powder. It is preferable to use a methyl phenyl-based silicone resin as the binding insulative resin. In mixing the soft magnetic powder with the binding insulative resin, a silane coupling agent may be added thereto. The thermal treatment is preferably executed at a temperature of 600°C or higher in the atmosphere. It is preferable that the soft magnetic powder has a powder hardness of 100 MPa or larger.
