PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device capable of efficiently executing a page transition and a file transition of a preview image with a simple operation.SOLUTION: An MFP 100 provided with an operation device of the present invention comprises: a liquid crystal display 102 for displaying the preview image of a certain page of a file containing a plurality of pages; a touch screen 101 for detecting an operation pattern according to a touch operation by a user on a display surface of the liquid crystal display 102; and a CPU 107 for switching the preview image to the preview image of a different page of the file or to the preview image of a certain page of a different file according to the operation pattern detected on the touch screen 101 during the display of the preview image.
