<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can set a photographing condition without performing a specified operation by returning the photographing condition which is previously stored in accordance with a direction of the imaging apparatus, and to provide a control method of the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes: photographing direction detection means 18 which can change a photographing direction and a photographing condition and specifies the photographing direction; storage means 17; and photographing direction determining means 10. The storage means associatively stores photographing direction information specified by the photographing direction detection means and photographing condition information for specifying the photographing condition which is set in the photographing apparatus. The photographing direction determining means acquires a difference between the present photographing direction specified by the photographing direction detection means and the photographing direction information which is previously stored in the storage means. The present photographing condition is adjusted in accordance with the difference between the present photographing direction and the photographing direction information that is previously stored in the storage means, which is acquired by the photographing direction determining means.</p> |
