PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle rear-door operation apparatus which is easy to use for users.SOLUTION: A vehicle door operation apparatus includes: imaging means arranged in a vehicle and capturing a rear view of the vehicle; person detection means which detects a person on the basis of an image captured by the imaging means; and operation control means which controls operation of a door arranged in a rear part of the vehicle, according to a distance between a person detected by the person detection means and the vehicle.
