PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticking device and a sticking method capable of preventing squeeze-out of adhesive due to fluidity and securing a uniform sticking thickness.SOLUTION: This sticking device for sticking via UV cure adhesive R, a pair of works S1 constituting a liquid crystal display includes: a feed section 10 for feeding the adhesive R so as to be spread over the whole area of at least one surface of one work S1; an irradiation section 11 for applying UV in atmospheric air before sticking to temporarily harden the whole of the adhesive R spread over the whole area of the one surface of the work S1; and a sticking section for sticking the other work to the temporarily hardened adhesive R.
