<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head cap fitting structure for a ball hitting bat capable of making engagement between a bat base material and a head cap more firm.SOLUTION: A tip 11 includes an abutting part 17 facing forward in an axial direction across a peripheral line, a fitting part 19 protruding forward in the axial direction, and an engaging part 21 formed in the fitting part 19. A head cap 13 includes an abutted part 23 facing backward in the axial direction across the peripheral line, a fitted part 25 having the abutted part 23, a fitting recess part 27 which is formed on the inner diameter side than the fitted part 25 and has a recessed shape in the axial direction, and an engaged part 29 which is formed in the fitting recess part 27 and between the abutted part 23 and the fitting recess part 27. A head cap fitting structure fits the head cap 13 to the tip 11 by fitting the fitting part 19 into the fitted part 25 so that the abutting part 17 is abutted against the abutted part 23, fitting at least part of the fitting part 19 into the fitting recess part 27, and engaging the engaging part 21 with the engaged part 29.</p> |
