PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of memory access by arbitrating a plurality of memory access requests from a single function block.SOLUTION: A data processing device, which includes a function block having data communication means and a memory bus for connecting the function block to a memory, is provided with a memory controller that controls, according to a memory access method, arbitration of a plurality of access requests from the function block to the memory. The function block performs data communication related to the plurality of access requests according to data configuration based on the access method by using the data communication means.
