<p>Disclosed are a method and device for controlling coordinated multipoint transmission in a cell handover process. The method comprises: when a cell handover for a terminal is determined by a serving base station, same determines whether or not a target base station supports coordinated multipoint transmission to the terminal; if yes, transmitted to other access network nodes in a coordinated set is a handover notification message, which carries identification information of the terminal, identification information of the target base station, and instruction information for maintaining the coordinated multipoint transmission, and if not, the coordinated multipoint transmission of the terminal is deactivated, and a message for instructing deactivation of the coordinated multipoint transmission is transmitted to the other access network nodes. If the handover notification message is received by the other access network nodes, continuation of the coordinated multipoint transmission when the terminal is handed over to the target base station is determined; if the message for deactivation of the coordination multipoint transmission is received, the coordinated multipoint transmission of the terminal is deactivated. Embodiments of the present application solve the problem found during a cell handover of a terminal that is executing coordinated multipoint transmission of how to handle the coordinated multipoint transmission of the terminal.</p> |
