PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device in which a liquid crystal cell and a backlight can be correctly arranged, and provide the liquid crystal cell.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device includes: bonding an array substrate 12 and a counter substrate 14 to form a liquid crystal cell 2; injecting liquid crystals between the array substrate 12 and the counter substrate 14; bonding a surface of the counter substrate 14 and an optical film 20 having one corner part notched in a triangular shape; and aligning a corner part of the liquid crystal cell 2 and a corner part of a backlight 3 in a notch part 6, and attaching the backlight 3 onto the liquid crystal cell 2. |
