PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut attaching structure of a bumper member which firmly supports a towing hook fastened to a nut, efficiently absorbs load to a vehicle body, and by which the vehicle body can be downsized.SOLUTION: A nut attaching structure comprises: crush boxes 4 respectively arranged for front end portions of a pair of side members; an approximately planar bumper member 5 attached to a pair of the crush boxes; a nut 6 attached to at least one of overlapping areas 5a of the bumper member which overlaps the crush boxes; and a brace 7 having an upper side part which is arranged between the crush box and the bumper member, the overlapping area has a cross sectional surface formed in a hat shape so as to protrude from the front of vehicle to the rear of vehicle, a flange 6c of the nut and a bottom part 5b of the overlapping area are joined in a contacting manner in the state where the nut is inserted into a nut attachment hole 5e of the bottom part 5b, and an upper side part 7a of the brace is joined to the crush box, the bumper member, and the nut. |
