PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing a solar battery by which a porous inorganic oxide layer high in porosity, and less in impurity can be manufactured even by a low-temperature baking; and a solar battery manufactured by such a method for manufacturing a solar battery.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a solar battery comprises the steps of: forming an inorganic oxide layer on a base material by coating a surface of the base material having a conductive layer formed on the surface with an inorganic oxide paste including inorganic oxide fine particles, a binder resin, and an organic solvent; baking the inorganic oxide layer; producing a porous inorganic oxide layer by irradiating the inorganic oxide layer with activation energy rays or performing an ozonation process thereon; and laminating a semiconductor onto the porous inorganic oxide layer. |
