PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass for pharmaceutical containers, which is resistant to delamination and has excellent processability.SOLUTION: The glass for pharmaceutical containers of the present invention comprises, in mol% on an oxide basis, SiO69-81%, AlO4-12%, BO0-5%, LiO+NaO+KO 5-20%, LiO 0.1-12%, and MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO 0-10%. The glass has a hydrolytic resistance of Class 1 in a test in accordance with the European pharmacopoeia. |
