<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector capable of collecting particulate matter having a small particle diameter with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A dust collector 1A to remove particulate matter from an object gas comprises a charging section 2 and a wet collection section 7. The charging section 2 includes: a dividing member 4 to divide a part of a flow passage 10 in which the object gas flows into a plurality of cells; and a charge wire 3 being inserted into a plurality of the cells respectively and generating an electric field between the charge wire 3 and the dividing member 4 by applying a negative voltage. In the wet type collection section 7, the object gas passing the charging section 2 is in contact with water and the particulate matter charged to be negative by the electric field generated between the charge wire 3 and the dividing member 4 is collected.</p> |
