PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost by reducing the number of energizing members, while securing the operation stability of a shutter.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a toner container 6 including a container body 22 in which a discharge port 35 for discharging toner is provided; a developing unit 12 including a developing unit body 83 in which a replenishment port 88 receiving the toner discharged from the discharge port 35 is provided and a developing unit-side shutter 98 rotating along the outer surface of the developing unit body 83 to open and close the replenishment port 88; a seal member 90 provided around the replenishment port 88 and coming into contact with the developing unit-side shutter 98; an energizing member 94 energizing the developing unit-side shutter 98 from a position for opening the replenishment port 88 to a position for closing; and a container-side shutter 28 rotatably attached to the container body 22 to open and close the discharge port 35. The container-side shutter 28 presses the developing unit-side shutter 98 to the position for opening the replenishment port 88 against the energizing force of the energizing member 94. |
