PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reluctance motor with improved torque due to high efficiency rotation by realizing self-excitation functioned while recovering loss energy.SOLUTION: A reluctance motor 10 comprises: a stator 11 with an armature pole coil 14 to which a 3-phase driving current is input; and a rotor 21 having plural rotor teeth 22, interlinking a magnetic flux generated on the armature pole coil, and rotated at a main rotation force. The rotor has: an inductor pole coil 27 for generating an induction current by a space higher harmonic component of the magnetic flux interlinking from the stator side to the rotor side; a diode for rectifying the induction current generated by the inductor pole coil; and an electromagnet pole coil 28 for self-exciting the induction current rectified by the diode as a magnetic field current, and generating an electromagnetic force assisting a main rotation force. The inductor pole coil is supported by a support part 33 in a form to hold permanent magnets 37A, 37B. |
