<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new paper conveyance simulator for enabling verification work on upstream of a paper conveyance control design process to be performed with high accuracy in a short time.SOLUTION: In a two-dimensional model of a paper conveyance device for dividing a paper conveyance path into a plurality of conveyance sections at rollers arranged along the paper conveyance path as boundaries and defining the amount of slack of paper as an attribute of each of the conveyance sections, the amount of slack between the conveyance sections is calculated on the basis of a paper feed amount fed into each of the conveyance sections. In the cases where the amount of slack pertaining to one conveyance section or two or more conveyance sections adjacent in the paper conveyance direction reaches a lower-limit value, the paper conveyance speeds of all rollers located at ends of the conveyance section(s) are changed to the same speed, and a paper position is simulated on the basis of the changed paper conveyance speed.</p> |
