PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive stator of a rotating electrical machine for a vehicle, which can enhance a space factor of an electric conductor in a slot, improve power generation efficiency and output torque, suppress damage occurrence of an insulating film of a root portion of a coil end part, and secure electrical insulation.SOLUTION: In a stator of a rotating electrical machine for a vehicle, a stator winding is composed of a distribution winding, slot storage parts 10a, 10a' and root portions of coil end parts 10b are formed in cross-sectionally flat shapes, and the slot storage parts 10a, 10a' are aligned and stored in a slot 5 in a radial direction in contact with each other so that a major side of the cross-sectional flat shape is turned to a peripheral direction. An aspect ratio of the root portion of the coil end part 10b located on the radial-direction outside of the coil end part 10b which is adjacent to the former coil end part 10b in the radial direction and in which a direction extended from the slot 5 in the peripheral direction is different from the former coil end part 10b is smaller than an aspect ratio of the root portion of the coil end part 10b located on the radial-direction inside of the coil end part 10b. |
