<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence having a structure capable of stably holding a plurality of kinds of vertical lattices different in thickness by the same kind of interval holding material.SOLUTION: A guard fence 1 comprises a furring strip 20 and a vertical lattice panel 30 for connecting both furring strips 20. The furring strips 20 comprise a slit 21s extending over the total length and a vertical lattice panel support part 22 expansively opening in an inverse wedge shape toward the inside from both edges of the slit 21s. The vertical lattice panel 30 comprises a vertical lattice 31 juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction of the furring strip 20 and an interval holding material 32 for holding a juxtaposing interval of the vertical lattice 31 in an equal interval. The interval holding material 32 comprises a vertical lattice holding part 32a mutually connected to an end part of the vertical lattice 31 and a furring strip engaging part 32b for engaging in a wedge shape with the vertical lattice panel support part 22. Even when a thickness of an end part of the furring strip 20 is different, a mutual engagement degree between the inverse wedge-shaped vertical lattice panel support part and the wedge-shaped furring strip engaging part 32b changes by the wedge function, and a difference in the thickness is absorbed thereby, so as to prevent looseness between the furring strip 20 and the vertical lattice 31.</p> |
