SLIM MOBILE HYDRAULIC FLUID COOLING ASSEMBLY

A mobile hydraulic cooling assembly has a hydraulic fluid reservoir with a second interior surface offset from a first interior surface. The portion of the second surface offset is not opposite any of the first interior surface in the vertical direction. An air chamber, into which air passes into or out of through a heat exchanger, has an angled exterior surface formed from the reservoir which delimits the air chamber. A fill entry closure which covers a fill entry into the reservoir is accessible by the hands of an operator when a moveable closure of the assembly is in an open position. At least two reservoir portions delimiting a hollow of the reservoir overlap a bottom facing surface and bottom of a truck rail when the cooling assembly is mounted to the truck rail.

A mobile hydraulic cooling assembly having a hydraulic fluid reservoir, said reservoir having a plurality of reservoir portions each reservoir portion of said plurality having an interior surface, each of said plurality of interior surfaces delimits a same hollow chamber of said reservoir; each of said plurality of interior surfaces forming an entirety of surfaces delimiting the hollow chamber, said cooling assembly adapted to be mounted to a truck frame rail, wherein:
a first reservoir portion of said plurality of reservoir portions has a first interior surface of said plurality of said interior surfaces; a second reservoir portion of said plurality of reservoir portions has a second interior surface of said plurality of interior surfaces; said first internal surface and said second internal surface are spaced apart a vertical distance in a vertical direction; at least a portion of the second interior surface is offset from the first interior surface in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the vertical direction, and the portion of the second surface offset is not opposite any of the first interior surface in the vertical direction; a longest straight line extending from the portion of the second interior surface offset to the first interior surface intersects a line extending along said vertical direction at an angle greater than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees.
