The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-sensitivity, high-speed-response, and high-durability photosensitive body for electrophotography used in a high-resolution, high-speed, positive-charge electrophotography device, and an electrophotography device in which said photosensitive body is used, said photosensitive body exhibiting excellent operational stability, and stably obtaining high image quality devoid of any incidence of image defects arising from image memory or cracking due to contamination by a contact member, fats or oils, or sebaceous matter. A photosensitive body for electrophotography provided with a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generation material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin on a conductive support medium; wherein the outermost layer contains the charge generation material, hole transport material, electron transport material, binder resin, and a hyperbranched polymer obtained by polymerizing, in the presence of a polymerization initiator, a monomer having two or more radical-polymerizable double bonds in the molecule, and a monomer having a long chain alkyl group or alicyclic group and at least one radical-polymerizable double bond in the molecule. |
