The present invention relates to a method and device to adjust the concentration of at least two gasses in a fluid. The method comprises the steps of a) adjusting the concentration of a first gas in the fluid by a means for adjusting a first gas concentration, and b) adjusting the concentration of a second gas in the fluid by a means for adjusting a second gas concentration, wherein the means for adjusting the concentration of the first gas and the means for adjusting the concentration of the second gas are separate from each other.
