<p>The present invention relates to a chair including a seat plate located at the upper part to allow a user to take a seat, a support leg located at the lower part to be in contact with the ground, and a support pillar located to the upper part of the support leg to support the seat plate to be lifted, thereby efficiently lifting the seat plate by nonpower by assisting a vertical lifting motion of the seat plate after a seating load of the user is stored. A chair for the elderly and the infirm with a nonpowered lifting device comprises: a main cylinder including a head member which is mounted at the lower end of a support pillar and a hydraulic chamber which receives the head member, has compression space to allow the head member to perform a vertical reciprocating motion, and is installed to be fixed to the upper end of a support leg; a sub-cylinder including a sub-hydraulic chamber which is mounted at one side of the main cylinder, has a passage connected to be communicated with the compression space of the hydraulic chamber, and has a size of 1/3~1/10 based on an internal area of the hydraulic chamber and a sub-head member which is received at the upper side of the sub-hydraulic chamber, has a rod formed at the upper part thereof to be extended long, and supplies a pressure to the sub-hydraulic chamber; and a lever member which is installed to be connected to the upper end of the sub-cylinder and controls a pressure to be supplied to the sub-head member.</p> |
