<p>The platform provides a system for the collecting consumer shopping data, and incentivizes or rewards certain consumer shopping behaviors. A shopper identified by a unique identifier (UID) uses an electronic device to accept a product code; transmit the product code and context information to a server; receive a coupon code or discount code; use at least the UID code, product code and discount code to generate a coupon code; and display a coupon symbol encoded with the generated coupon code. The coupon code is displayed as a coupon symbol readable by a point of sale (POS) scanner. The coupon code is unique to the shopper, and the coupon provides a custom discount or benefit to the shopper. A server having one or more databases receives, stores, and parses user data and associated transaction data.</p> |
