摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device controlling a five-axis machining tool capable of correcting a tool direction vector so as to reduce the amount of correction in a specified direction, suppressing acceleration and deceleration unnecessary for a machine during machining, shortening machining time, and improving quality of a machining surface of a workpiece in tool tip point control.SOLUTION: In a numerical control device 100 controlling a five-axis machining tool, command reading means 1 analyzes and converts a machining program to an executable format, and interpolation means 2 performs interpolation processing on the basis of the executable format to output a move command to each axis, and drives and controls respective axis servos 3X, 3Y, 3Z, 3B(A), and 3C on the basis of the output axis move commands. The numerical control device 100 also includes tool direction command correction means 4 which belongs to the command reading means 1 and corrects a tool direction vector so as to smoothen tool direction change of the machining program. The tool direction command correction means 4 references a tool direction correction tolerance 5 preset by tool direction correction tolerance setting means 6.
