PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of combustion noise while suppressing generation of soot even when ignition delay occurs.SOLUTION: A fuel injection control device 30 of a diesel engine 1 where preliminary injection is executed prior to main injection, includes ignition delay estimating means 30 for estimating an ignition delay period of a fuel injected by the main injection. The preliminary injection is not divided when the ignition delay period does not exist, and the preliminary injection is executed while divided into several times and lowering penetration force according to the ignition delay period, when the ignition delay period exists. |
