<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable work machine, which prevents missing of a nut member that fastens a cover member to a main body thereof.SOLUTION: A chain saw includes: a bolt member 12 stood in a chain saw body 10; a chain cover 30 to be attached to the chain saw body 10; and nut members 40 that are joined by a screw to the bolt member 12 to fasten the chain cover 30. On an outer surface 32 of the chain cover 30, a plurality of claw-like protrusions 33 are formed. The plurality of claw-like protrusions 33 hold the nut members 40 that are not joined by a screw to the bolt member 12, movably in a first direction in which a flange portion 42 separates from the outer surface 32 of the chain cover 30 and in a second direction in which the flange portion approaches the outer surface 32 of the chain cover 30. When the nut members 40 move by a predetermined distance in the first direction, a locking surface 34a of a claw portion 34 thereof contacts an edge portion of the flange portion 42 to restrict further movement of the nut member 40.</p> |
