<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for wire coating materials which requires no expensive equipment, e.g. a cross-linking apparatus, enables low-cost production of an insulated wire for automobiles excellent in heat deformation resistance and is good in extendability and strength and an insulated wire.SOLUTION: A resin composition for wire coating materials comprises 100 pts.mass of a polyvinyl chloride of a degree of polymerization of 3,500 or larger, 20 pts.mass of an inorganic filler and a plasticizer. An insulated wire is formed by extrusion-coating a conductor with the resin composition to form an insulated layer.</p> |
