<p>The invention relates to a method for heat treating at least one metal wire, comprising a progression thereof in a furnace along a progression direction, in a direction of forward movement between an upstream end and a downstream end of the furnace, an injection of hot gases in the furnace by burners (10), and a discharge thereof outside the furnace upstream from the burners, as well as convection heating of said at least one progressing metal wire by the injected hot gases, which are brought into forced circulation in the furnace in the direction opposite the direction of forward movement of said at least one metal wire, said injection of hot gasses being done in a direction which, relative to a plane (13) perpendicular to the progression direction (F), is inclined toward the downstream end of the furnace.</p> |
