PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions of 2,4,6-trifluoro-N-[6-(1-methyl-piperidine-4-carbonyl)-pyridine-2-yl]-benzamide.SOLUTION: The invention discloses pharmaceutical compositions comprising 2,4,6-trifluoro-N-[6-(1-methyl-piperidine-4-carbonyl)-pyridine-2-yl]-benzamide (Compound I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a certain amount of Compound I or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient or carrier, where for oral or rectal administration, the composition contains 50-400 mg of Compound I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof per dose, and for buccal, sublingual, nasal/intranasal, percutaneous, subcutaneous, injectable, intravenous or intramuscular administration, the composition contains up to 200 mg of Compound I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, where the composition is administered once, twice or three times a day. |
