The present invention relates to a polarising film and an image display apparatus having the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a polarising film provided with a liquid crystal layer and a substrate that are coupled together by a chemical bond, wherein the chemical bond is formed by a reactive group provided on a surface of the substrate, and an isocyanate group and a (meth)acrylate group provided on the end of an adhesion promoter included in the liquid crystal layer, which thereby provides a very high adhesion between respective layers.
