BULKY NON-WOVEN FABRIC'S MAKING METHOD

Basic material for high bulk nonwoven material for wadding is a melt spun polymer. One component is a crystalline propylene polymer with an ethylene polymer as a second component. They are produced as filaments either side-by-side, or as a cladded core material, so that the second component covers at least part of the outer fibre surface in a longitudinal direction. The Q value (the ratio of the average molecular weight to the molecular count) of the first component is 3.5 or more, after melt spining, for the preparatin of undrawn fibres.
