MICRORNAS FOR IDENTIFICATION OF EXPOSURE TO PARTICULATE MATTER 2.5 AND THE METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION USING THEREOF

The present invention relates to microRNA for confirming the exposure of particulate matter 2.5 which is 2.5μm or less (PM2.5) and a confirming method using the same. More specifically, as a result of exposing lung cells or lung cancer cells to PM2.5 accommodating extract liquid and organic extract liquid, one kind of microRNA overexpressed 1,300 times or more and one kind of microRNA hypoexpressed 0.769 times or less are selected. It has been confirmed that the microRNA can be usefully used as a tool for monitoring PM2.5, determining the harmfulness of PM2.5, and investigating toxic action mechanisms caused by PM2.5 by using the two kinds of microRNA as biomarkers.
