<p>There is disclosed a display device comprising a body configured to define a display region, within which an image is viewed. A plurality of blade members are mounted within the body such that the blade members combine to traverse the display region. Each blade member is configured to have at least two display surfaces for displaying an image therefrom, Each blade member is rotatably mounted to the body so as rotate about a central axis thereof. A drive mechanism is configured to be in driving engagement with each of the blade members so as to impart rotational motion to the blade members. A controller controls the drive mechanism to move the blade members such that each blade member is orientated within the display region with one of the display surfaces visable such that the image that is viewed within the display region comprises the combined display surfaces of the blade members.</p> |
