PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-lubricating composite material having a blend ration of a solid lubricant, such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS), of 60 mass% or more and still having a required strength, and a roller bearing employing the self-lubricating composite material.SOLUTION: A self-lubricating composite material includes molybdenum disulfide (MoS) of 60 mass% to 80 mass%, at least either chromium (Cr) or manganese (Mn) of 0.1 mass% to 2 mass%, and iron (Fe) as balance. |
