<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device in which increasing of thickness at the coating finishing end part of a coating film can be suppressed without stopping a coating roll.SOLUTION: A coating device 20 comprises a coating roll 22, a comma roll 23 which deposits paste-like coating material to the coating roll 22, a packing roll 25 which transports metal foil 11, and a sensor 24 which detects coating film thickness of active material paste 12 applied on the metal foil 11. The packing roll 25 moves between a contact position P1 at which the metal foil 11 is brought into contact with the active material paste 12 deposited on the coating roll 22 and a separation position at which the metal foil 11 is separated from the active material paste 12 deposited on the coating roll 22. A control device 28 increases separation speed of the packing roll 25 during moving from the contact position P1 to the separation position when thickness at the coating finishing end part of the active material paste 12 detected by the sensor 24 is thicker than a reference value.</p> |
