PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive capable of maintaining a bearing rigidity of a fluid dynamic pressure bearing even if a drive current is reduced and capable of executing a read/write operation stably even under an environment where much amount of vibration occurs.SOLUTION: A disk drive comprises a sleeve including a shaft and a circumferential protrusion; a housing including a housing flat part at an end part of a housing cylindrical part; a thrust member having an enclosing circumferential surface for enclosing the sleeve at an axial clearance between the housing flat part and the circumferential protrusion; a radial dynamic pressure generating part; and capillary seal part. A hub includes an inner wall portion to which the thrust member is fixed and an inner circumferential small diameter part having an inner circumferential surface with a smaller diameter than that of the inner wall portion and enclosing the circumferential protrusion. The thrust member has an end surface of the inner circumferential portion extending outwardly from the enclosing circumferential surface, an extending side surface extending from the end surface of the inner circumferential portion in the second direction and an end surface of an outer circumferential portion extending from the extending side surface in an outward direction so as to form a storing space extending from the extended side surface up to the outer end of the end surface of the outer circumferential portion to store a part of the small diameter part of the inner circumference.
