PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint capable of being easily manufactured and simplifying work related to connection of a drain branch pipe, and a catch basin including the same.SOLUTION: A catch basin 10 includes a basin body 11 and a joint 12. The joint 12 has: a connection cylindrical body 17 that is connected to a branch pipe socket 16; and an elbow part 18 that is provided at the tip of the connection cylindrical body 17 and to which a drain branch pipe SD is connected. The joint 12 sets the rotation direction of the elbow part 18 so that the elbow part 18 is constituted in a rotatable manner with respect to the connection cylindrical body 17 and a rotational axis Ar of the elbow part 18 to the connection cylindrical body 17 is orthogonal to a pipe axis At of a drain main pipe MD.
