PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant virus infection inhibitor which is safe for a consumer and a user, effective and cheap, and a disease inhibition method using it.SOLUTION: Diseases due to viral infections such as genus Tobamovirus or genus Cucumovirus are prevented by spraying a plant virus infection inhibitor containing fermentation by-products chosen among amino acid fermentation by-products and nucleic acid fermentation by-products on a plant body of a plant chosen from Nicotiana tabacum, Solanum lycopersicum, Capsicum annuum grossum and Capsicum annuum.
