PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to separate an objective component from a fluid to be treated with favorable separation efficiency while downsizing a separation device.SOLUTION: A separation method includes the processes of: preparing a separation device 1 provided with an absorption treatment part 2 having inside a fine absorption channel 58 and a fine refrigerant channel 60 disposed at a position heat-exchangeable with the channel 58; circulating a fluid to be treated and an absorbent in the channel 58 in such a state as mutually contacting with each other to absorb an objective component into the absorbent from the fluid in the circulating process; flowing in the refrigerant channel 60, a refrigerant having lower temperature than the fluid flowing in the channel 58 and the absorbent to cool the fluid and the absorbent by heat-exchanging between the refrigerant and the fluid including the absorbent flowing in the channel 58; and separating a fluid mixture of the fluid after absorption of the objective component into the absorbent in the absorbing process and the absorbent after absorption of the objective component into the fluid and the absorbent.
