PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a production plan capable of enhancing production efficiency of products produced through multi-stage processes.SOLUTION: A production planning method includes steps of; receiving input of order information for target products for production planning using a production planning computer (step S1); identifying a bottleneck process, for which a sum of processing time for processing all base materials is the longest, and a sub-bottleneck process, for which the sum of processing time for processing all the base materials is the second longest, based on processing time for each base material in each process associated with each set of order information (step S2); dividing the base materials into a plurality of production lots based on processing time for each base material in the bottleneck process (step S3); exploring for a processing order for the divided production lots that produces the shortest sum of processing time in the bottleneck process (step S4); and generating and outputting a production plan based on a result of the exploration (step S10). |
