PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a control unit to identify a location where communication abnormality occurs, even in the case that respective monitoring units for monitoring respective states of batteries connected in parallel and the control unit communicating with the respective monitoring units are connected in series.SOLUTION: Respective monitoring units 10 allocate identification information corresponding to a setting signal output from a control unit 3 or monitoring unit 10 at the preceding stage, as identification information of the respective monitoring units 10, respectively; and change the setting signal to output the changed signal to a monitoring unit 10 or control unit 3 at the subsequent stage. The control unit 3 identifies a location where communication abnormality occurs, on the basis of an amount of change of a setting signal output from the rearmost monitoring unit 10. |
