PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision system, information provision method, mobile information terminal, and computer program capable of sharing the present position information on a user even in an on-vehicle information terminal without having connection means to a communication network.SOLUTION: A mobile information terminal 5 acquires position information on another user from an information management server 2, guides the position of the other user to be identified based on the acquired position information on the other user, and transmits the acquired position information on the other user to an on-vehicle information terminal 7 when the mobile information terminal 5 is communicable with the on-vehicle information terminal 7. The on-vehicle information terminal 7 that has received the position information on the other user transmitted from the mobile information terminal 5 detects the position of a vehicle 6, guides the detected position of the vehicle as the position of the user him/herself, and guides the position of the other user to be identified based on the position information on the other user received from the mobile information terminal 5. |
