<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a rotation angle of a rotation mechanism in a compact and inexpensive manner.SOLUTION: In a rotation angle detection apparatus 1, a rotation calculation unit 5 rotates a vector represented by two or more differential signals output from a plurality of hall elements 2U, 2V according to a rotation angle of a rotating body, to output a rotation vector. A control unit 8 applies arithmetic processing with respect to at least one signal representing the rotation vector, with a target amplitude Xtgt, to output a control signal ctl representing an amplitude of a detection signal. A driving amplifier 9 changes a driving signal Vdrv to the hall elements 2U, 2V on the basis of the control signal ctl, to adjust the amplitude of the detection signal. A threshold detection unit 10, a gain counter 11, and a differential unit 3 correct the amplitude of the detection signal on the basis of the control signal ctl. An angle search unit 7 detects a rotation angle of the rotating body on the basis of the corrected detection signal.</p> |
