<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having an enhanced friction feature on ice, in particular, having an excellent brake performance on ice.SOLUTION: An pneumatic tire comprises a tread part which includes major grooves 2 extending in a tire circumferential direction; lateral grooves 3 forming a convex shape in the tire circumferential direction with an inflection point between major grooves and/or between a major groove and a tread end, extending in a tire width direction; and blocks 7 including a circumferential direction projection 41 whose shape corresponds to the convex shape of the lateral groove. One or more lateral sipes 42 are arranged extending in the tire width direction in the block in an arrangement shape corresponding to the lateral groove. The sipe has a feature that a tire width direction dimension projected on the same plane including a tire rotation axis line and orthogonally crossing a block surface is equal to a tire width direction dimension of the block arranging the sipe, when projected on the same plane.</p> |
