<p>Disclosed are a gold nanoparticle composite and a manufacturing method thereof. The gold nanoparticle composite of the present invention comprises a gold nanoparticle cluster with a plurality of gold nanoparticles; and chitosan entangled with the gold nanoparticles. Therefore, the gold nanoparticle composite used as a substrate for a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) probe can be manufactured at room temperature by a simple one-pot process. Also, the manufactured gold nanoparticle composite is eco-friendly and the size and type of the gold nanoparticle composite can be controlled by adjusting the concentration and pH of the chitosan and the usage of ascorbic acid. Accordingly, the manufactured gold nanoparticle composite is used as a SERS probe, thereby dramatically enhancing the SERS signal.</p> |
