In the present invention, there is disclosed a method of making winter maintenance of airport take-off, landing and auxiliary parking areas, foot pavements, roads and other transport routes characterized by the removal of winter shroud (0) from the airport take-off, landing and auxiliary parking areas, foot pavements, roads and other transport routes. The winter shroud (0) covering a surface to be treated is subjected to the action of IR-A radiation with wavelength in the range of 1.15 to 1.25 microns, generated by the conversion of electrical energy to the IR-A radiation causing dissolution of the winter shroud (0) on the surface being treated. A device for winter maintenance of airport take-off, landing and auxiliary parking areas, foot pavements, roads and other transport routes comprises a heat source connected to a an electrical power-unit. The heat source is represented by at least one electric IR-A radiator (1) that is connected to an electrical power-unit and emitting IR-A radiation of a wavelength in the range of 1.15 to 1.25 microns, whereby the radiation (2) of said electric IR-A radiator (1) is directed downwards and the radiator is located on a vehicle-borne means. |
