PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container lid having a liner bonded and fixed to the inside via an adhesive paint layer and a nonadhesive area formed to set the circumferential edge of the liner as a free end without forming any special layer such as a masking layer on the adhesive paint layer.SOLUTION: The metal container lid includes a sheet metal cap shell having a circular top surface wall 7 and a skirt wall 9, and a liner 5 disposed in the inner surface of the top surface wall 7. An adhesive area X and a nonadhesive area Y are formed in the inner surface of the top surface wall 7, and the liner 5 is in tight contact with the adhesive area X and the nonadhesive area Y. The adhesive area X includes an adhesive paint layer 30 formed in the inner surface of the top surface wall, and the nonadhesive area Y is formed by irradiating the adhesive paint layer 30 with laser light. |
